Family time!

I flew home on June 4th and Porter started classes on June 6th. Since it is a 1 year MBA his summer classes were very concentrated and he was really busy! Without me being there he decided to make himself whatever he wanted (or just go out) for dinner, so this is what he ate probably every night for the next 3 weeks while I was gone!

The weekend of June 10 we had our Smoot Family Reunion at the LDS Heber Valley Campsite. We had a great time doing ropes courses and zip lines with our cousins.
Me, cousin Brady and soon to be Cousin Matt.

After lots of convincing we finally got my mom up there! (she's afraid of heights)
Oaklee loved the big rope swing. She just kept asking to do it again and again!

We had a great time at the Reunion. My cousin Synthia and her Fiance Matt jumped in a canoe together. If any of you know Synthia and I, that was a mistake! About half way across the Lake we decide to race Synthia's brother Stan, and sure enough the next thing I know we are under the freezing cold water. I'm not sure what the temperature of the water was but it felt like ice. Not to mention it was against the rules to be swimming in the little reservoir! Oh how I wish I had a picture!

Spending time with the family was a blast. Oaklee got to helped Uncle Korbin fill in the sand back with this rubber stuff.

Smooty and Maggie had some very valuable cousin time! They where so interested in each other, it was hilarious, although they weren't quite ready to share at this stage...

Bath time
24th Birthday! For my Birthday on June 16 20011 Mom, Shelly, the kids and I drove to Logan to visit Abbie. We all went to lunch and then went to Abbie's apartment and had a delicious cake that she made me! Smooty and I then had a fun little sleepover and we had Yummy parfaits in the morning!

Before driving back to Centerville we went to Petco's adopt a dog day! The dogs were so cute it ALMOST made me want one.

Oh the Sunday before my birthday Josh had his farewell. He gave the most touching farewell talk I have ever heard and the whole family was bawling. Even my dad up on the stand who was bent over trying to conceal himself couldn't hold it in. We dropped Josh off at the MTC on June 13 ,we are so proud of him. He has been, and is such a great missionary! For some reason I cannot find the pictures of Me and Oaklee and Smooty with Josh but here is Abbie, Spencer and Maggie!

Last but not least...while I was there we found this is the window seal at my parents house. It was so neat..we were able to see all these little birds hatch and then grow to leave the nest all in the 3 weeks that I was there.
